  2. Welcome to "barc-list," an unmoderated electronic-mail distribution list for
  3. matters concerning the Boston Amateur Radio Club and ham radio in the greater
  4. Boston, Massachusetts area.

  6. The Boston Amateur Radio Club ("the Club") is a non-profit organization of
  7. approximately 170 members who share an interest in the Amateur Radio hobby.
  8. The Club has numerous meetings and activities throughout the calendar month.
  9. The General Meetings are held each third Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the
  10. auditorium at Lotus Development Corporation, One Rogers Street, Cambridge, MA.

  12. If you have questions or comments about the Club, announcements of general
  13. interest to the greater Boston ham radio community, or if you're simply
  14. curious about what hams do (besides talk on "funny radios"), feel free to
  15. subscribe to this list and learn about the exciting things afoot at the
  16. Boston Amateur Radio Club!
